In writing. In conversation.
Meaning comes first.

Experience in the British justice system and public services. Careful attention to context, terminology and confidentiality.

Interpreting

Language support for conversations and meetings, including those involving legal, medical or public-service terminology.

  • Consecutive and dialogue interpreting — interpreting after a short passage or between speakers’ turns.
  • Simultaneous interpreting — interpreting while the speaker is talking. I am a qualified interpreter with training in conference interpreting.
  • Whispered interpreting (chuchotage) — interpreting in real time, in a low voice, for someone seated nearby.
  • Sight translation — an oral translation of a written document.

For a quote, tell me the subject, date, location or meeting format, and the expected duration.

Assignment arrangements
For each interpreting assignment, we agree the location, duration and delivery format, as well as any travel and accommodation costs.

I bring together my experience as a teacher, translator and interpreter. In every role, clear understanding comes first.

I’m an English teacher, translator and interpreter. I currently teach at Alma language school in Łódź. Previously, I taught teenagers and adults at schools including Berlitz Poland, Empik and Prima — from general English and conversation to Polish Matura exam preparation and business English.

At Berlitz Poland, I worked with corporate groups, CEOs, journalists and Members of the European Parliament. That experience helps me tailor lessons to specific professional situations — meetings, presentations and everyday communication at work.

Between 2013 and 2025, I worked as a public service interpreter in the UK for courts, including London’s Old Bailey, the police, immigration services and the NHS. That experience taught me the value of precise language, careful listening and staying calm in demanding situations.

I bring those same skills to my teaching. I want you to understand what you are saying and be able to use English when you need it. My approach combines teaching expertise with language used in everyday life and professional settings.
